Christmas Baking

Now that's a pretty house!

That's me, the black shadow in the middle of the picture.

Where are the dog biscuits?
My persons were baking yesterday. But there was nothing for me to eat. I don't understand what all the fuss was about.

Christmas Goodies

Thank you Frida!
A Christmas Guest
Frida is coming for Christmas! And lucky for me she likes the same food I do! So, she sent me some extra rations and a bucket of goodies to have on hand while she's here. There's nothing like a big sack of food delivered to your doorstep to make your day. And a rawhide stick was thrown through the mail slot, too.

New Blankie

This blankie comes with its own pawprints

There's only room for one of us, little person!

Hey, that's my bed, too!

Look what I got!
A new blankie that's warm and soft! This was a gift from my friend, Frida. I am always on the look-out for new places to sleep as my own beds are sometimes occupied by others.

Hi There

Hanging out with Frida

Acting nanny for this little person

An active little one!

Hello there.

Busy entertaining family and friends
Some of my loyal readers have complained that there is not enough action on this site. Well, as you can see, I've been busy with friends and family.

Hard Work

Here I am on the job at the Kids and Dogs stand

This is Sisse. She and I stood at the stand together.

Here we are guarding the stand .

Tough guy

We saw doggies of all shapes and sizes

Are you a horse or a doggie?
Nine to Five
My person and I helped out at a recent dog show sponsored by the Danish Kennel Association. We stood at the Kids and Dogs stand and handed out flyers about the Kids and Dogs educational program. We saw lots of doggies -- all shapes and sizes. I was tired when we got home.

The party's over.

Come Back Soon

Are You Ready to Rumble?

Who started it?

It's hard to see who's who...

Doggie Wrestling
Frida and I like to get in a few friendly rounds out in the yard after dinner.

The Waiting Game

"He that can have patience, can have what he will" (Benjamin Franklin)
My friend Frida and I do a lot of waiting. We wait for our walk. We wait for our dinner. We wait for our persons to wake up. We wait for something to fall on the floor, or someone to come in the door. But all that waiting eventually pays off.

Blankie

There's nothing like a blankie to make you feel at home.
Bedtime
Frida brought along her blankie that she likes to carry around before going to bed.

Out and About

Sitting and staying for a few doggie treats

Enjoying the view from a little hilltop

A quick dip in the local mud hole does wonders for our coats!

Exercise buddies
Today Frida and I took TWO long walks and had a great time meeting other doggies and jumping in mud holes. We each had our own tennis ball though Frida is very good at holding two tennis balls in her mouth at once. That's why I have to be quick and fetch my tennis ball first!

On the Job
Frida is visiting us this week while her persons are on vacation somewhere sunny and warm. I have "escaped" to another part of my house while Frida enjoys her new role as "executive assistant to chief of operations".

A Happy Birthday Party

That's me mingling with one of the party guests...

Here's a happy party guest enjoying her appelsauce

And here is the guest of honor!

Fun, Food, and Games
Lots of persons running around in my garden yesterday afternoon - playing ball, eating and jumping around. Lucky for me there were lots of opportunities to sniff out crumbs and food droppings!

Summer Dog

Dog Days
I can't complain about the weather these days - warm and sunny. This is me on a recent walk around a lake nearby - a "new" place - with my girlfriend, Frida. There were lots of great smells and plenty of opportunities to jump in the water for a quick dip.

Winter White

Yes, we did have snow this year.

It may not look like much but there was enough for a good wiggle and roll in the white stuff

Spring Is Almost Here
All the signs are there...it's just a matter of time.

Baby! Sit!

She's back! And she's bigger and makes more noises than last time, too!

I am not sure what to say about this little person...

Baby on Board
This weekend we had a visitor. Ive seen her before but now she's bigger and noisier! When she's in the house all I hear is the word sit! So I sit. I guess this is what they call babysitting.

A First-Prize Beginner

I'm quite satisfied with my performance today if I do say so myself!

This is what first-time first-prize winners look like after they come home. The beer glass is our first-prize.

Here are two of my training buddies - also first-prize winners!

The Thrill of Victory
And they said it couldn't be done! Today my person (a family person) and I (a family dog) won our very first first-prize at a C-field trial for doggies like me. Lucky for us there were no birdies and no water -- just dummies (some with fur), which are my speciality.
My person was very nervous - so nervous that when it was time to walk off-lead from one disipline to the other she kept telling me to heel even though I was heeling just fine. It's a good thing my person isn't a hunter because she would scare all the birds and rabbits away with her -- how-can-I-put-it -- rather loud commands. I must say I was a bit embarrassed. But since we won first prize I think I can forgive her this once.

Holidays 2007 - A Look Back

Yet another holiday visitor...

Frida likes to watch tv.

Good doggies and best buds - here we are sitting in our baskets.

How does she do it? Frida can hold two tennis balls in her mouth at once.

All in All a Happy Holiday
The new year is here and what better time to look back on the last few weeks where we had many visitors and lots of activities. Frida was the big news during our Christmas. There has never been a friendlier doggie visiting us! Frida won the hearts of everyone in the house. Now it's back to normal. Happy New Year!
